Google will be launching Google Chrome beta.

Just a few hours from now, Google Chrome beta will be here for all of us to test.

This browser offers new features that are not present on other existing browsers. Each tab will be running on their own processes, so that crashes on a tab will not affect other tabs. It will also optimize use of memory because each killed tab will free up resources so that new tabs can reuse those resources. Further, shifts from one domain to another also frees up resources used. This means a faster browsing experience for users because applications run by the browser will also be fast loading.

And here's more, this technology is open source. What more can we ask for? Let's just try and see how this will affect the current browser market.

What better way to introduce this new product than by releasing a comic book? Cool, hehe!

Thanks for posting this. I am curious to see how it will compare to the newest Firefox!

I'll be curiously waiting to get the official download link. It sounds to address common browser problems. Only thing I have thought few days back is a completely private browsing - not the one we have in OPERA. There will be a login interface and whatever staff I do after logging in, it should remain private in respect of my entity only.

Pages load fast! And the interface is so clean it is so refreshing! Really cool.

according to my very unscientific estimations, so far, it would seem that Chrome is a lot faster than FireFox and IE
